INDIANAPOLIS (April 2, 2026) – Historic Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis will serve as the host venue for the 37th annual State Farm® College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships, set for Friday, April 3, 2026, at 7 p.m. ET. The competition will be broadcast live on ESPN+, and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN on Sunday, April 5, at Noon ET.

One of college basketball’s premier postseason showcase events, the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships returns to the Hoosier State for the eighth time overall and the fourth time inside the storied home of the Butler Bulldogs. The event annually features the nation’s top men’s and women’s shooters and high-flying dunkers, celebrating skill, athleticism, and creativity on a national stage.

Fans in attendance will witness multiple championship events, including the E*TRADE Men’s 3-Point Championship, and Celsius Women’s 3-Point Championship as well as the State Farm Slam Dunk Championship, Skechers Battle of the Champions and the Pedigree® Team Shootout.

The State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships has a rich history of showcasing future professional stars and unforgettable moments, with Hinkle Fieldhouse providing a historic and iconic backdrop befitting one of college basketball’s most anticipated nights.

Sam Phipps of UT-Tyler earned a spot in the State Farm Slam Dunk Championship by winning the State Farm Dark Horse Dunker competition, a digital media fan-voting contest last week.

Since the event’s inception, several of the top players in college basketball have competed in the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships before moving on to the professional ranks, including Gary Payton, Steve Nash, Jason Terry, Kyle Korver, Bobby Hurley, Michael Finley, Allan Houston, Denzel Valentine, Cappie Pondexter, Katie Gearlds, Kristi Toliver, Odyssey Sims, Tiffany Hayes, Tiffany Mitchell, Ariel Atkins and Rhyne Howard.
