Spurs’ Greats Highlight Judges Roster for 2025 King’s Hawaiian Slam Dunk Contest

SAN ANTONIO (March 26, 2025) – Two legendary San Antonio Spurs, George Gervin and Sean Elliott, join NBA legend Grant Hill and ESPN’s Jay Bilas on the judging panel for the 2025 King’s Hawaiian Slam Dunk Championship, set to take place April 3 as part of the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships at Frost Bank Center.

Gervin and Elliott both enjoyed lengthy pro careers in San Antonio. A Hall of Famer, seven-time All-NBA selection and four-time scoring champion, Gervin played 12 seasons for the franchise. He is also a member of the NBA’s 50 Greatest Players and NBA’s 75th Anniversary team. Elliott spent 11 of his 12 seasons in the league with the Spurs, earning two All-Star game appearances and helping the franchise to its first NBA title in 1999. He was also a two-time consensus All-American and won the 1989 Wooden Award as National Player of the Year.

The King’s Hawaiian Judge, Hill’s name is synonymous with the game of basketball at the college, professional and international levels. An All-American and NCAA champion in college, Hall of Famer as a professional, and current Managing Director of USA Basketball, Hill has spent his entire career impacting the sport at the highest levels.

A fellow Duke Blue Devil, Bilas is one the sport’s leading voices as ESPN’s top college basketball analyst, having joined the network in 1995. A nine-time Emmy nominee, he will once again be on the call for the State Farm College Slam Dunk 3-Point Championships at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN on April 3.

The 36th edition of the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships is the table setter for final weekend of the college basketball season.
