INDIANAPOLIS (March 24, 2026) – A mix of sports media personalities and College Football Playoff National Champions will serve as judges when the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships takes place April 3 at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Headlining the judging panel are three members of the popular Club 520 Podcast — including former NBA All-Star Jeff Teague, along with DJ Wells and Bishop B. Henn. Teague enjoyed a 12-year NBA career with the Atlanta Hawks, Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks, earning NBA All-Star honors in 2015 and winning an NBA championship with Milwaukee in 2021. Through the Club 520 Podcast, the trio has built a national following with candid conversations about basketball, sports culture and the athlete experience.

Joining them on the judging panel are two members of the Indiana University football program, Tyrique Tucker and Roman Hemby, who helped lead Indiana to the 2025 National Championship. Tucker, a defensive lineman, earned All-America honors as well as a first-team All-Big Ten selection a year ago, and will return to the Hoosiers for his final collegiate season. Hemby, a standout running back, rushed for more than 3,000 yards and totaled over 1,000 receiving yards during his collegiate career, and is expected to be selected in the upcoming NFL Draft. Both bring the perspective of elite Division I competition and championship-level performance to the judging process as they help evaluate the night’s high-flying dunk performances.

The event is presented locally by Chreece, the Indianapolis-based hip-hop organization known for elevating independent artists and producing large-scale cultural events. Live performances during the event will include 4200 Kory, Zakiyah and PS Maldonna, while Sounds By Cam will serve as the in-arena DJ and Chyna will provide music on the concourse. The evening will also be hosted by emcees Sampson Levingston and Olivia West, who will guide fans through the night’s performances and competition. 

The 37th edition of the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships is the table setter for final weekend of the college basketball season. Each year, a collection of the country’s elite men’s and women’s 3-point shooters and dynamic dunkers put their talents on display and energize the college basketball community as it prepares to crown their national champions. Thousands of fans, young and old, enjoy a family friendly experience that allows everyone to be part of the biggest weekend in the sport.

Participants in the event have included some of basketball’s greats and legendary lottery picks, including Gary Payton, Steve Nash, Cappie Pondexter and Odyssey Sims, to unforgettable tournament superstars from recent history like Kris Jenkins, Jack Gohlke, Dyaisha Fair and Ariel Atkins.
